For people who want to preserve and share their family recipes, FoodieFiles is a social media site dedicated to food that allows users to keep track of their favorite recipes, come up with new meal ideas, and follow family members or friends to see what they are making. Unlike Instagram, Pinterest, and Epicurious, FoodieFiles encourages nurturing and passing on old and new family recipes.
The Goal
Creating a web app that would allow for both storing and sharing recipes. An all-in-one for sharing recipes with friends, family, and anyone interested while also having the ability to use as just a recipe keepsake by adding them in a private view rather than public.
